    • Ecospot Fouth Place Winner: The Bags

In the UK 88% of household rubbish is disposed of in landfill, increasing the pressure on landfill sites and releasing dangerous gasses into the air. We all realise there is a growing problem but nobody likes to admit that their rubbish is contributing to the problem.

We made this film using a style and genre that was different from the usual 'message film'. We think our film would appeal to the younger generation - encouraging them to open their eyes, see the impact their actions have on their immediate world and take action to change.

Each rubbish bag that featured in this ad was sorted and recycled after filming... we practice what we preach :-)

    • Ecospot: Runner Up: Perry the Cockroach

Cockroaches have been around since the beginning of time and will probably be here long after we are gone. We can delay the rise of the cockroach if we reducie, reuse, and recycle. A cockroach encourages us to continue our bad eco-habits to accelerate the rise of cockroach dominance. We can prolong our stay here by visiting climateprotect.org. Put your foot down on the rise of the cockroach. Watch this one to the very end! Cockroaches have been around since the beginning of time and will probably be here long after we are gone. • Ecospot: Runner Up: Support Good Hot Energy

"Support Good Hot" is an expandable marketing campaign designed to grab the attention of mainstream audience members through the use of traditional advertising tropes. If a green movement has to compete for attention with fast food chains and retailers, then this is the way to do just that. It saddens me to see so many plastic bags and plastic products everywhere I go. Collecting in landfills and beaches everywhere. I just want to make people more aware of the problem we are creating.

We've all done it. Thrown that bottle away, left the water on, drove when we could have walked, took the elevator.
